TODDLERS 1 to 2.5 YEARS OLD

When your baby us ready she/he will graduate to our toddler room, this move normally takes place between 12-24 months of age. At this age they’re ready for a little more structure and new fun challenges as well as free play and rest periods.

During this period your child is quickly gaining a new confidence in themselves and developing a deeper understanding of the world around them. This is an age when children begin to play together and starts to increase their vocabulary. Our activities and curriculum are designed around these many changes to enhance their individual development. We encourage and guide them to further develop their confidence, their intellectual, social and emotional skills as they explore their environment. Also, we pay special attention to the development of speech and language and encourage the development through a range of fun and social activities such as singing songs, role play and storytelling. Other areas of focus include, arts and crafts, colours, painting, numbers, fun messy play, pretend play, jigsaws, blocks, construction blocks can help developing their concentration, how to use their imagination and develop their fine motors skills. To them, it’s just lots of fun, and that’s because we believe that learning is literally, child’s play.
